OUR STORY
String & Salt was founded in 2014 by Dave and Michelle Cann. They wanted to provide a leading regional retail experience, celebrating a love of food, home and great design.
Over the years S&S has evolved to become a magnet for foodies, passionate home cooks and chefs alike, who relish the extensive range of spices, professional cookware, beautiful tableware, and thoughtful home goods.
From the beginning, range cookers from iconic British brands Falcon, AGA and Rayburn formed major part of the String & Salt offering.
Opening the String & Salt Kitchen concept showroom in 2019, was a natural progression, providing an expanded range of high quality appliance brands to create the perfect kitchen.
The inclusion of high quality brands including ASKO, Bertazonni, Liebherr, Kemlan Wood Fireplaces, Qasair, Falmec, La Norica, Thermirossi and CLEAVER Artisan Appliances has made String & Salt, Gippsland’s destination for inspired kitchen design, providing a range to meet all culinary needs and aesthetics.

OUR SERVICES
Storage and Delivery
We offer unlimited free, secure storage of your appliances until you are ready to install them. In most cases we will personally deliver your appliance at your convenience or use a trusted insured courier service. We can help you remove old appliances, and take away any packaging material.
The Right Advice
We want you to be delighted with your appliance and always work to help you select a product to suit your lifestyle, the constraints of your space, your energy usage and interior style. We offer free onsite consultation if you need a little extra help.
Communication
We can liaise with your cabinet maker, electrician and plumber to ensure the correct allowances and installation so your appliances will perform at their peak.
